Frequently Asked Question: Do I have to pay with PayPal?

Answer: No. As much as PayPal is used for the overall transaction, you have the option to pay by credit or Visa Debit card. PayPal considers this as checking out as a guest.

Steps to avoid PayPal:

1. Once you have chosen the appropriate ticket type within Eventbrite, selected the checkbox below regarding PayPal and clicked on the “Place Order” button, the next window/screen gives you options – they’re not very well noticed but they are there.

2. The screen wants you to enter an email or phone number to pay with PayPal. Do not enter any information into that field. Instead, click on the button below that reads, “Pay with a credit or Visa Debit card”.

3. Enter in all your card information, ensuring “Canada” is the selected country. You will receive a confirmation once you complete the transaction … without creating a PayPal account. They will prompt you – just say, “No” and close the window.
